The Campus
The Tanarata International Schools Planters Grounds campus (spanning 5-acres) is strategically located in the Klang valley area of Putrajaya/Cyberjaya and Country Heights area - in close physical proximity to also KL City, Kajang, Serdang and Bangi.
The campus has excellent accessibility being sited just beside the KL-Seremban Expressway (at the Kajang Toll Exit) and is about 5 km from Putrajaya (about 20 km south of Kuala Lumpur).
The location of the campus allows the school to easily cater to students living in the surrounding population catchments of Putrajaya/Cyberjaya, Kajang/Bangi, Serdang/Belakong, Country Heights etc; as well as those residing elsewhere (Cheras, Puchong, Seremban etc) but with easy accessibility to the N-S Highway and the SILK highway (Kajang Ring Road). In addition, students in the greater Klang Valley (Klang, Shah Alam, PJ, KL, Ampang etc.) can reach the school via the KTM Komuter, Putra LRT and KLIA Transit services that stop at stations within a 5 minute bus drive time from the campus. (School bus services from these pre-designated pickup points at regular intervals before and after school hours are arranged).
The purpose-built campus has been sited on a 5-acre green and beautifully landscaped site complete with a 100 m x 20 m rectangular shaped lake at the base of a hill slope. The site is about 250 meters away from KL-Seremban highway and also 250 m off from the SILK expressway from which there is direct accessibility.

Class Sizes & Enrollment
In order develop and maintain a personalized learning program for each child with the required attention and monitoring controls, Tanarata's student-teacher ratios are kept low by purpose. Class sizes rarely exceed a count of 18, with a cap on total student enrollment at around 600 students.
As per requirements of the Ministry of Education Malaysia regarding English medium International School, enrollment eligibility is earmarked only to the children of expatriate parents and to Malaysian families who meet the requirements of the Ministry of Education, the requirements being, one parent is a foreign national, or the child has been attending school outside of Malaysia for not less than 3 years.
Admissions into the school is strictly via an entrance examination and interview with parents, and is at the sole discretion of the school's admission committee.
School Calendar
The school year is divided into three terms.
Each term is 12 to 14 weeks in duration.
TERM 1 - September to December
TERM 2 - January to April
TERM 3 - April to July
School Timings
Regular School hours : 7.50 am to 1.50 am

The school has a waterfront open air-cafeteria where students can purchase food during break or after school hours.
