At Tanarata International School, we believe that education extends beyond the classroom. As part of our commitment to creating a more sustainable future, we are pleased to announce the installation of a solar photovoltaic (PV) system across our Primary and Secondary Buildings.
This initiative represents an important step in our ongoing efforts to reduce our environmental impact, promote responsible energy consumption and provide our students with a real-world example of sustainable technology in action.
Harnessing the Power of the Sun
The solar installation comprises 176 high-efficiency solar PV modules, each with a capacity of 620 Wp, providing a combined installed capacity of 109.12 kWp.
The system is designed as an on-grid, net-offset solar PV systems, allowing the school to generate clean electricity from sunlight and reduce its reliance on electricity from the conventional grid.
